Trickster Cultural Center was established on March 5th, 2005 to create a unique contemporary view of Native arts, cultural education, and awareness. Today the Trickster Cultural Center is the first Native American owned and operated arts institution in the state of Illinois.

OUR PROGRAMS
We offer a variety of tours to make connections to explore, engage, and educate. We welcome individuals, schools, and groups to visit us for a guided tour! Tour our three galleries and learn about the artists and their work.
The Trickster Cultural Center and the Native culture hold a deep respect for all veterans, especially veterans of Native American origin. Native people make up the largest percentage of any race volunteering for military service, and it is important for them to be recognized and given the respect they deserve within the community.
Administration for Native Americans (ANA) awards grant to Trickster Cultural Center for “Nadwe’o, Nado’wé: Healing for One, Healing for All,” Cross Generational Project.
Ménwidokwek is the words used for good friend. Our culture camps, little ones reading circle and garden programs foster friendship and good relations with each other and Mother Earth.
